 Build 2.7.2.6

  1. Added Functionality, Exchange 2007 and 2010 generated properties. The type of exchange object can now be listed as a generated property belonging to either a user, a group or a contact.
  2. Update, Exchange 2007 and 2010 support. Exchange 2007 and exchange 2010 support has been enhanced.
  3. Update, Extended the Help Function. The bulk functionality Help Function has been extended and now includes information on how to create Home and Profile Directories.
 
 

 Build 2.7.2.4

  1. Added Functionality, Foreign Security Principal Source Account. From the properties interface, the source account belonging to a foreign security principal can now be directly accessed.
  2. Update, GUID Representation. The GUID is no longer represented in hexadecimal format, but instead in standard format.
  3. Bugfix, 'Folder name as username is not active (is expired)' in Obsolete Home & Profile Directories. When deselecting the checkbox, the checkbox no longer remains checked.
  4. Bugfix, Find on Other Attribute than AD Name in the AD search Function. AD Objects can now be searched for on all the attributes listed in the AD search Function.

  1. Added Functionality, Get Remote File System Rights Exclusions. When requesting the effective rights of a user on a Remote File System, the groups 'everyone' and 'authorized users' can be excluded from the list, so that only explicit and explicitly derived rights are shown.
  2. Added Functionality, Get Effective Group Memberships and Get Effective Members. The functions 'Get Effective Group Memberships as Number', 'Get Effective Security Group Memberships', 'Get Effective Security Group Memberships as Number', 'Get Effective Security Group Memberships with Origin', 'Get Effective Distribution Group Memberships', 'Get Effective Distribution Group Memberships as Number', 'Get Effective Distribution Group Memberships with Origin', 'Get Effective Members as Number', 'Get Effective Members including Foreign Domain Members' and 'Get Effective Members including Foreign Domain Members as Number' have been added.
 
 

 Build 2.7.2.2

  1. Bugfix, Computer Information request IP Addresses. When requesting the IP addresses of a computer with more than one hundred IP addresses, a system out of memory error occurred.
  2. Bugfix, Changing Service state. Certain computer configurations prevented the changing of service states, because the service itself was wrongfully listed as dependent on itself.

  1. Added Functionality, Find Entry in Event Properties and Event Copy. When opening an Event Viewer Entry, specific entries can be searched for.
  2. Bug Fix, Object Restore. When restoring objects with properties, the properties were not always restored to the object, due to the fact that the resurrected object was not yet replicated to the Global Catalog upon attempting restoration of those properties.
  3. Bug Fix, Object Deletion or Move. When deleting or moving more than, say, 2000 objects, the last five objects were not deleted or moved due to the progressbar reaching one hundred percent.

  1. Added Functionality, Find Function. In the Find Function, tab delimited data ca now be entered.
  2. Bug Fix, Bulk Function. When checking the 'Remove successful Rows upon Completion' checkbox, not all rows were processed.

  1. Added Functionality, Export column in Bulk Function as string to file. By right clicking on a column header in the Bulk Function, the content of an entire column can now be exported as a string to a txt file. This is especially useful when searching for these objects via, for instance, the Find Function.
  2. Optimization, the ‘Make Member of…’ Function. The time it takes to add, say, 2000 members to a group that already contains 5000 members via the ‘Make Member of…’ Function has been reduced by more than ninety percent.

  1. Update, Finding Active Directory Computers on IP Address. When searching a computer object on IP Address via the Find function, the object is also listed when it resides in another domain.

  1. Added Functionality, Effective Members. The effective members of a group, through group nestling, can now be requested across domains, in the same way the effective group membership of any object can be requested.
  2. Added Functionality, Ping Multiple Computers. Any selection of computers can now be pinged to monitor their current status, and their status over time.

  1. Added Functionality, Creation of Home and Profile Directory. Both via the User Properties Interface and the Bulk function, shared Home and Profile Directories can now be created. The path to the Home and Profile Directory can be generated from Organizational Unit Colleagues.
  2. Added Functionality, Bulk Test Creation of Home and Profile Directory. Before actually creating a Home and Profile directory belonging to a user via the Bulk function, the input can be tested via the Test Run function, same as the SID History.

  2. Bug Fix, Wrong Column Name when requesting Process Information. When requesting the process information of a remote computer, the column 'Owner' was wrongfully named to the username of the ADUC+ user.
  3. Bug Fix, Error when changing membership containing Foreign Security Principal via the membership Interface. When changing a membership containing a foreign security principal via the Membership interface, the foreign security principal was wrongfully removed from the membership list.
  4. Bug Fix, Failure to start under certain membership conditions. When the user is member of a group in multiple ways because of group nestling, ADUC+ failed to start up when the aggregated number of members exceeded the number of licenses.

  3. Bug Fix, wrong output exchange property 'Accept Messages Only From and Except Messages From Everyone Except' listing. In some cases, objects added to the property 'Accept Messages Only From and Except Messages From Everyone Except' were not listed correctly.
  4. Bug Fix, unable to change Group Type. Some Group Type changes in combination with membership settings were wrongfully listed as impossible.

  1. Added Functionality, SID History. It is now possible to add SIDs from trusted domains to objects in the root forest and vice versa.
  2. Added Functionality, Extended Filtering. When scanning remote machines for the existence of a service, process or Local SAM database User or Group, the filtering can be refined via an Extended Filter option.
  3. Added Functionality, Test Run Bulk Import & Modify. It is now possible to test run Bulk Import & Modify actions before implementing them.
  4. Added Functionality, Scan Remote SAM Database & Bulk Change. It is now possible to scan the local SAM database of multiple computers on the existence of users and groups, add or remove users from groups and change the password of users on multiple computers in one go.
  5. Added Functionality, Not Found Messaging. When objects are not found, the message does no longer simply state that The Object is Not Found. It also states it is not found in a specific path, or in which domain(s) the object was not found.
  6. Added Functionality, Add A Printer to the User of a Remote Machine. When adding a printer to a user on a remote machine, the printer can not only be selected, it can also be searched for or simply written into the textbox.
  7. Added Functionality, Add on SamAccountName or AD Name. On attempting to change the properties Manager, Managed By, Member, Member Of, Accept messages only from, Accept messages from everyone except, Forwarding Address and Send on Behalf, both the Ad Name (Full Name) and Name (pre Windows 2000)(SamAccountName) can be entered.
 
 

 Build 2.5.5.2

  1. Added Functionality, Listing of Domains. When changing domains via 'Connect to Another Domain' all domains are listed, no matter whether Aduc+ is started in a root, child, sister or parent domain of a forest.
  2. Added Functionality, Writing of Events to Computers in another Domain. Eventviewer Entries can now also be written to computers that reside in a parent, sister, child or trusted Domain.
  3. Added Functionality, Rolling Back Changes made to Objects in another Domain. When rolling back changes made to objects in another domain than the current root domain, that other domain no longer needs to be opened as root domain within Aduc+ before changes can be rolled back.
  4. Added Functionality, Property Location of Computer Objects. The property Location for Computer Objects has been added application wide.
 
 

 Build 2.5.5.1

  1. Bug Fix, No Exchange Delivery Options Data Saved when send on behalf contained more than one entry. When the send on behalf listview contained more than one entry, and another Forwarding Address or Recipient Limit was entered, the changes to the object were not saved on Apply or Ok.
  2. Bug Fix, Freeze of Exchange Interface on Rolling back Exchange Boolean property. When Rolling back any exchange property, the properties interface of the belonging object is automatically updated. Upon this update, a row value was attempted to be set to a non boolean value (i.e. not to either True or False) resulting in a freeze of that particular interface.

  1. Added Functionality, Multiple Remote Machines can now be scanned on the existence of a given local user or group. All properties can be obtained, including membership lists.
  2. Added Functionality, Group Memberships can be granted on creating objects. An object no longer needs to be created before memberships can be enforced.
  3. Added Functionality, Local SAM database ACLs on obsolete directories. When requesting Obsolete Directory Information, local ACL entries are now also listed.
  4. Bug Fix, Incorrect data written to eventviewer upon object creation. When creating an object, and then adding members to this object via the Add Member interface, the membership information was incorrectly written to the eventviewer, making it impossible to roll back that specific entry.
 
 

 Build 2.5.4.2

  1. Bug Fix, Time out on loading large Remote File System XML file. When loading a file larger then 12 MB, it took up to three minutes to load the file. This has been brought back to less then 10 seconds.
  2. Bug Fix, Bulk modifying Membership lists. The bulk function compares existing memberships with new memberships. When bulk modifying membership lists without prefixing the domain name, new memberships were not correctly compared to old memberships.
 
 

 Build 2.5.4.1

  1. Bug Fix, Listview Items sorted on alphabetical order on printing, print preview or save as bitmap. When printing or saving a listview, the items were automatically sorted alphabetically.
  2. Bug Fix, Unrecognized Object type when requesting Local Sam data from computer in other Domain. When requesting the membership of a group in a local sam database from a computer in another domain than the root domain, Foreign Security Principals and builtin groups were not recognized as such.

  1. Added Functionality, Find Current User. It is now possible to select up to 400 computers and find out in a heartbeat which user is logged on to what computer.
  2. Added Functionality, Load GetAcls File from RootMenu. A formerly saved XML can now be directly loaded from the rootform.
  3. Added Functionality, Printqueue Deletion. Printqueues can now be deleted. Their properties are saved to the eventviewer for later consultation.

  1. Bug Fix, Single Entry Roll Back from OutPutbox. When rolling back a single entry from an outputbox copied from the rootform outputbox, the right entry was not always found.

  1. Added Functionality, Multiple Select on Copy Rights. It is now possible to select multiple rights in the ACL interface and copy them to another object.
  2. Added Functionality, Optionally View All Generic Rights. Within the ACL interface, Generic Rights that are a combination of other generic rights can now be viewed and selected.
  3. Added Functionality, New Thread on Moving Objects. When moving more than 5 objects from one container or organizational unit to another container or organizational unit, a new thread is opened.
  4. Added Functionality, Immediate Application Update upon ADUC+ Profile Change. When changing settings of an ADUC+ profile of which the application user him or herself is a member, the application no longer needs to be restarted before the changes take effect.

  1. Bug Fix, Wrong message when trying to Restore an Object without the right credentials. When trying to restore a deleted object from the EventViewer or the Roll Back functionality without the credentials to do so, the message now reads: 'You are not running ADUC+ under Domain Admin credentials, so deleted objects cannot be retrieved! Restart this tool via 'Run As' with Domain Administrator rights.'.
  2. Bug Fix, Long Delay on Doubliclick NT account in security Interface. When doubleclicking an 'NT4' account in the security interface, there was a long delay while ADUC+ searched the Active directory for the non existing account.
  3. Bug Fix, Double Listing of 'Mail' attribute in drowpdown boxes of Bulk and Import functionality. One of the Attribute entries has been removed.
  4. Bug Fix, Property Instring Delimiter in Bulk function not remembered. Because the Bulk function runs under a new thread, the Property Instring Delimiter was reset to its default value before the Bulk data could be processed.
  5. Bug Fix, Restoring Inherited Rights to an Active Directory Object. When Rolling Back a Remove Inheritance With Preserve of inherited rights from the EventViewer or the Roll Back functionality, the inherited rights were not restored.

  3. Bug Fix, Include Local Group in calculation of effective File System Rights. When calculating the effective File System Rights of an object, Local Groups were not incorporated into the calculation, thereby omitting listing of effective rights.

  1. Bug Fix, Search on Distinguished Name. When searching Active Directory on a distinguished name, no entry was found due to a wrong generated input string.
  2. Bug Fix, Move Object to Treeview. When moving an Active Directory Object from a listview to the Root Form treeview, and thereby moving the object in ActiveDirectory, an 'Object Not Found' Error occurred.
